  • Largest slot car being raced

  • Advantages – realistic, a true scale slot car.

  • Disadvantage – top heavy, hard to drive for beginners.

FCR Parma NASCAR

  • 1/24 quasi scale

  • 4.5” wheelbase

  • bodies made of clear Lexan, painted inside with lacquer based paint.

  • Chassis made of brass, very simple inline design.

  • Advantages – almost scale, regarded as a slot car. Gets attention

  • Disadvantage – simple design doesn't handle well, slow motors only.

  • Stamped steal chassis, usually 2 piece.

  • Most popular slot car ever

  • Advantages – simple design, easy to drive, durable, affordable

  • Disadvantages – look remotely like a car, not scale, no prestige

  • Elaborate diamond cut chassis $$$

  • highest technology motors

  • very fast, requires experienced driver and commercial track.

  • Advantages – fastest non wing slot car. Driver is respected

  • Disadvantages – very expensive, must travel to big events to race.
