- 2 cars - I don't know anyone with just one car
- a controller
- a tech block
- a ground drillblank allen wrench - for tightening wheels and gears
- spare gears - for changing ratios
- spare axles - they do bend and break.
- spare tires - if you are too low they must be changed. Some rubber works better than others.
- spare motor
- a box of pickup braid - 5 pair
- spare guide flag - they do shear off.
- spare leadwire set
- pliers
- tweezers
- small screw driver
- soldering iron
- tire goop
- axle spacers, guide spacers.
- cloth tape, straping tape, clear tape, electrical tape.
- small metal ruler
- solder acid paste and acid flux.
- multi color lane sticker set - these aren't free anymore
- bottle of thin oil
- rag
- bottle of tire cleaner
- bottle of braid lubricant
Optional
- motor spray
- electric fan to cool motor during lane changeovers
- power supply to test motors
- dial calipers
- Dremel
